The Lowar are an extinct race that you will never physically encounter.
However, the information from their ruins and one of their ships provides
important information. The Lowar were quickly trying to learn about the
Leghk technology before the possessed Umanu completely destroyed them.
Although the Lowar came close to uncovering this information, they did
not succeed. The remnants of information still available will be found
in several locations. The most important of these are the planet Elthesh
in System 84, 176 and the doomed ship Elthar-Esh in System 198, 154.
