The Phlegmak were an ancient race that attacked the Empire in the first
wave, along with the Numlox. Both races were defeated
by the Empire by the end of the fighting; the Mechans
computed an 84% probability that the Phlegmak and Numlox
races were entirely annihillated. The Veloxi take
credit for wiping these races out in a battle in 3250 over their base
in the Axe Constellation.
The Phlegmak used Black Egg planet bombs during their conflict with the
Old Empire. Several of these devices still exist in the Arth Sector. More
Phlegmak have been located at 52N x 16E on the third planet of system
238, 189, but Phlegmak writings are indecipherable at this time. Little
else about this race is known.
